My sister has done it again with this picture of a cockerel. I think it is fantastic. She has captured the very detailed colours in the plumage and the look in the Cockerel’s eye…in some ways it reminds me of the picture of the bull.
This is a portrait of an elderly Dalmation dog. My sister made these comments on her blog.
“…it took around half an hour to get a good shot of him. He is quite an elderly dog and has a little bit of a sad look in his eyes or possibly tired! But with the help of his owner and a few treats we got a good shot which will make a lovely portrait of him. Capturing the right expression is not always as easy and you would think, when you look closely animals have many expressions that are very subtle so patience is required, or food”
Easter is coming and easter bunnies are going to be popular so there may be a few more pastel portraits of bunnies that will be added to my sister gallery in the next few weeks.
