Do you already have an un-edited video of your horse on YouTube that includes shaky camera work and clips where your horse is not at his best? The solution is to ask me to edit your own video recording – selecting the best clips, adding transitions, captions and, if required, music.
Do you own a camcorder and would like to record your own video but are not able to edit the video on your own computer?
Do you live a long way from South Glos. and would have to pay a high mileage charge for me to visit your location?

How to transfer video files to me

Video files can be very large. Hi Definition (HD) video files can be in excess of 100MB which can make it difficult to transfer. Please contact me at videos@horse-clips.co.uk to discuss video file transfer. The video files can be transferred to me by any of the options below:

  • Transfer the file using a specialist third party web site.
    • YourFileLink (www.yourfilelink.com) provide a free service for uploading large files. Upload your video file to the YourFileLink web page and paste the linking code that YourFileLink provide into the Request for a Quote form.
  • Post a memory card or memory stick with all the video files
  • If you have got a camcorder that uses tape (e.g. miniDV) the video will need to be tranferred onto DVD
    • Based on personal experience as a customer I can recommend Vinyl to Digital
      • The video quality is excellent and the DVD is nicely presented in a presentation box with appropiate picture on the front based on the content of the video.

    • They can provide either
      1. DVD – this is an exact copy of the tape (i.e. no editing) that can be watched on your TV with a normal DVD player.
      2. DVD with MPEG-2 files – these files can be copied from the DVD to your PC. They can then be uploaded to horse-clips.co.uk for editing or edited on your own PC before uploading to YouTube.

Price List

Prices range from a few pounds for simple edits / captions that will convert a home video into a video you can be proud of when showing your friends and/or customers.

  • Captions: Price range £1 to £5 quote will depend on:
    • how many captions are required
  • Edits: Price range £3 to £15 quote will depend on:
    • the complexity of the editing – for example, synchronising the horses movements (transitions, paces) to music is priced as a premium.
    • the complexity of the transitions between clips – simple fades are priced lower than complex slides or picture in picture.
    • the duration and number of video files supplied – a large number of files or long video files take longer to identify the best clips to include in the edit
  • Music: Price range £2 to £6
    • Number of music tracks required.

  1. Upload your video files to YourFileLink
  2. Fill in the Request Quote form
  3. I will send you a quote to do the editing
  4. If you accept quote I will send you an email with a link allowing you to pay using PayPal
  5. I will edit the video and add any captions or music that is requested and upload the video to YouTube.
  6. I will send an email with the YouTube link for the video.
