Videos: Gold Service Description

Recording the video:

• Your horse can be recorded at your specified venue which may be your own arena, a hired arena or a competition.
• The recording can be of a competition, a lesson, private schooling or anything you require.
• The amount of time that is spent recording your horse depends on the video product that you have chosen.
• The video product includes the elapsed time of the recording session which may be different to the duration of the recording.
• For example, your horse will need to rest or jumps may need to be put up and these bits will not normally be recorded since they would be edited out anyway but the time will be included in the elapsed time.
• You specify what is recorded during the recording time.
• For example, in a sales video you will want to include walk, trot and canter but you may also want to include your horse at halt standing quietly or doing a trot-up.
• At a competition the competition will obviously be recorded but for a memento you may also want to include the warm up and hopefully the prize giving.
• It is possible to record all three phases of a one day event. However, it may or may not be possible to record the entire cross country course depending on the land at the location.

Editing the video:

• Editing carefully selects the best bits from the recording and edits them to create an entertaining video of your horse
• If the service includes music, editing synchronizes the horses movements with the music. For example, a canter transition may be synchronized with a change in rhythm
• Captions are included on the video that provide details such as horses name, venue, date, competition details
• For horse sales a contact phone number and email address can be included at the top or bottom of the screen for the duration of the video.
• Transitions & fades are added between each video clip.
• Editing is not included with all video products. Please see below for details of each video product.

Checking the video:

• The video will initially be uploaded to YouTube as an “unlisted” video. The private link will be provided by email to allow you to check your video
• Simple re-edits (for example amending text in a caption, changing a freeze frame or dropping a clip from the video)
• Video is uploaded to YouTube as a public video
• Video is also available on horse-clips.co.uk (this web site)

Prices:

Standard video products have been defined to meet most requirements. However, videos are individually made to match your requirements which may not fit with the standard products or prices. Please contact me (videos@horse-clips.co.uk) for individual pricing to meet your specific requirements.
